Traklife Live Sessions: Mac Fame
“Music is a form of expression and everyone has an opinion. I don’t need to hype my music up it just needs to be heard.” – Mac Fame
As stated on his website, Mac Fame says his music just needs to be heard. We got you! Traklife Live Sessions is giving you the opportunity to catch this talented artist perform his original tracks, “Doin My Job,” “M.A.C.,” and “Shorty In Free.”
Reigning from San Diego, California, Mac Fame’s music is as infectious as his energy. His songs are easily club bangers, perfect for those nights out if you’re in the mood to dance. And to note, there’s a subtle hint of an E-40 influence in his sound. In the interview below he talks a little bit about whom he’s often compared to.
Mac Fame hopes to bridge the generational gap between the times when lyricism was more prevalent in hip-hop to the current state where a catchy hook is often times chosen for its easy markability to the general mass consumer.
“It’s about mixing the old with the new. Taking the aspects that people liked from the past and making them new for a younger audience.” – Mac Fame
Mac Fame has something to say and his voice will play an important role in the music industry with his music bridging the gap between the OG hip-hop fans to the younger cats that appreciate a dope beat.
