IV Jay Easily Slays “The Hard Way”
I first caught glimpse of IV Jay’s talent during one of Danileigh’s #DaniLifeChallenge. She recreated her own verse off one of Danileigh’s tracks, which you can view here on her Instagram. The 18-year-old starlet advocates positive vibes and love. After being recognized with remarkable talent, Atlantic Records signed her in March 2018 and shortly after, released her debut EP “IV.” She’s definitely an emerging artist to watch and as her music stream count continues to rise so does our excitement as we anxiously await for new songs. I can’t wait to see where her career takes her in the music industry as she continues to drop bangers on that new wave R&B, with old school vibes.

Her latest EP release includes two tracks, “The Hard Way” and “Love Song,” complete with a visual (watch below). The song starts when a series of folks are questioned what is their definition of love. The video continues to highlight the fact that love is for everyone. “The Hard Way” chronicles her reflection on how she’s grown, learned from her mistakes, and wishes to continue learning from her own experiences, “the hard way.”
