SAINt JHN Releases New Single “Gorgeous”
SAINt JHN has been on quite a run. He’s released two critically-acclaimed projects (Collection One, Ghetto Lenny’s Love Songs) and appeared on the lead single “BROWN SKIN GIRL” with Wizkid on Beyoncé’s Lion King: The Gift.
His crowning achievement to date is the hit remix to his 2016 song “Roses,” which was widely considered the 2020 song of the summer thanks in part to TikTok and Snapchat. SAINt JHN is back with “Gorgeous,” the lead single from his upcoming project, When the World Was Burning.
SAINt JHN continues his hot streak, flexing his way to the top on his latest track, ‘Wanted the Rari.’ “I walked up and bought it / I don’t even think I thought twice that I thought it,” he raps on the chorus.
The up-tempo track finds SAINt JHN getting whatever he wants and celebrating all of his recent successes. The track is more fast-paced and clean-cut than a lot of the melody-heavy, mysterious cuts from Ghetto Lenny’s Love Songs. It’s likely SAINt JHN will continue to push the envelope with his next project, refusing to be boxed in by labels.
The accompanying music video finds SAINt JHN riding in a private jet, chilling in a mansion, and driving around in expensive sports cars. The video appears as a behind-the-scenes look at a day in the life of SAINt JHN, flashing camera lights, and all. Whether you call him a rapper or a crooning philosopher, one thing is for certain: SAINt JHN is a modern-day rockstar.
His latest project, When the World Was Burning, is rumored to drop on October 16th. Keep up with the latest music from SAINt JHN here and listen to “Gorgeous” below.
