Murs Raps for Over 24 Hours and Sets a New World Record

Veteran rapper Murs is stirring up the hip-hop headlines making history for setting a new Guinness World Record for completing the longest rap marathon called, #BarsForDays. He rapped for 26 straight hours on Oct. 12th promoting Boost Mobile’s Unlimited Streaming, featuring Slacker Radio. He was entitled to a five minute break in each hour. He rapped a lot of classic hip-hop tracks ranging from eras of the 80s and 90s, which surely had hip-hop heads from all over the world rooting him on during the live stream.

Congrats Murs for such an accomplishment! The preparation into this must have been grueling, but not as grueling as the actual attempt. And can we please talk about the really cool hand clock?! That was awesome! Thanks for reppin’ the West Coast so amazingly!
